Elaine Cotronakis – a Mayor to be proud of and ready to serve.

A mayor is more than a council member. The mayor’s position requires the mayor not only to vote on the many issues, but the mayor also is required to represent the town at public and other governmental meetings. In addition, the mayor is required to run efficient and orderly meetings. To accomplish this end Elaine Cotronakis has the required municipal experience by having previously served as both a council member and as vice mayor. She is known and has the respect of other elected officials from many of the surrounding communities and will be able to represent the Town in a positive manner. Additionally, Elaine’s record of always respecting her other council members will allow her to conduct the meetings in a fair, efficient, and respectful manner. Elaine will be a Mayor to be proud of and she is ready to serve as Mayor from day one.

I will vote for Elaine Cotronakis for Mayor of Juno Beach based on her record as former Juno Beach Vice Mayor and Town Council member.

Elaine bases her decisions on thorough research of the issues, listening to all perspectives and using good common sense.

One of her important goals as Mayor of Juno Beach is to facilitate an atmosphere where community members and Council Members respectfully express different points of view with the aim of reaching a mutually beneficial outcome (or at least one that we can all live with).

Elaine respects and values input from staff, citizens and fellow council members.

She has the ability to work with stakeholders who share different points of view and lead the Council to seek common ground in order to move a task forward.

She will work toward more productive Town Council meetings.  Prolonged discussion that reaches no conclusion is unfair to the residents of Juno Beach.

Elaine strives and succeeds at getting along with everyone regardless of their position on Town issues.
